Is Apera free?
Yes. Every feature on this page is free during the public beta.
What does “public beta” mean?
Apera is open to every server and in active development. New features and improvements land often — tell us what you’d like in the support server.
Is it only a protection bot?
No. Protection is one part — Apera also does welcomes, tickets, self roles, verification, giveaways, temp voice, custom commands, auto replies, logs, backups and stream alerts.
Why does Apera need Administrator?
To undo a nuke it has to recreate channels and roles, remove roles from the attacker and read the audit log. Features like tickets and temp voice also create and manage channels.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. Switch with /language or in the dashboard — replies, logs, buttons and panels follow your choice.
Will protections punish my own staff?
Only if they cross a limit you set, and only for protections you turned on. Add trusted members, roles and bots to the whitelist.
Who can see ticket transcripts?
Transcripts go to the log channel you choose and to the member who opened the ticket, through a private link that search engines never index. You can also require a Discord login to open them.
Can I back up my server?
Yes. /backup create saves roles, channels, their order and permissions, members’ roles, bans, emojis and server settings. /backup restore puts it all back, and /backup auto makes backups on a schedule.
